Bazza the Bush Balladeer
Better known as Bazza the Bush Balladeer, Barry Betts is an iconic figure in the Sunshine Coast region as he performs at festivals, fairs and markets with his heart-felt renditions of Australian bush poetry classics from Henry Lawson, Banjo Paterson, Dorothea Mackellar and more.
Born and bred in the bush, Bazza is a true-blue Aussie who flies the Eureka Stockade flag, loves the Aussie bush, animals and birds and loves his backyard chooks and critters. Bazza’s strong, projecting voice brings life and passion to old bush poetry classics. He loves a joke and a riddle and just loves making adults and children laugh and smile - "putting a smile on their dials". He’s also a dab hand at playing the kazoo!
