Festival Tickets

Ticket Information - Early Bird Tickets on sale June 1!


The Festival offers One-Day and Two-Day passes to attend events in our official venues (Coolum Civic Centre, Festival Marquees, Coolum Library, Coolum Bowls Club, Coolum Surf Club function room and My Place Restaurant. 
Our two 'Start with a Laugh' Literary Breakfasts on September 10 and 11 from 7am to 8.30am at My Place Restaurant featuring Aboriginal comedian Sean Choolburra includes a breakfast meal (choice of four menu items) with tea, coffee or juice for just $20. These tickets can be purchased separately by Festival Ticketholders as Special Event tickets.

Jack Morgan Park will host two ticketed Festival Marquees featuring workshops and presentations. Artisan Festival Stalls will also be featured during the two-day Festival and the park is open to the public to enjoy the quality stalls and spontaneous entertainment. The Festival’s Closing Ceremony at Tickle Park is also open to the public and features Aboriginal comedian Sean Choolburra, original music from Jay Bishoff and his Sound Feast performers plus a spectacular fireworks display by KC's Fireworks Displays.

All One-Day and Two-Day passes (Saturday and Sunday 8.30am to 5pm) include entry to the Festival’s Official Opening Celebrations in Coolum Civic Centre on Friday, September 9 from 6pm to 11pm and the Festival's Closing Ceremony Celebrations in Tickle Park on Sunday, September 11 from 6pm to 9pm. The Literary Breakfast Tickets (70-people per breakfast) will sell out, so it is recommended that you purchase these tickets in advance. 
The Festival’s Ticket Office will open at 1pm on Friday, September 9 in the Coolum Civic Centre.

The Official SCIRWF Program was launched on July 6. Ticket prices are:

One-Day Pass: Adults $85, Students and Pensioners $50
Two-Day Pass: Adults $160, Students and Pensioners $90
Literary Breakfast: $20 - available only to Festival Ticketholders. (Includes one breakfast meal and a tea, coffee or juice). Start with a Laugh with host, Aboriginal comedian Sean Choolburra at My Place Restaurant, 7am to 8.30am. Saturday breakfast also features Ubud Writers & Readers founder and director Janet DeNeefe. Sunday's breakfast also features Uncle Herb Wharton and Bazza the Bush Poet.
• Ticket prices listed do not include Eventbrite handling fee
• Students are full-time high school and university students (primary school students free). Concessions apply for Seniors Card and Centrelink pension cardholders.
