Cam is a long-time Sunshine Coast resident and radio broadcaster who has worked throughout Queensand in his distinguished career including radio stations at Mt Isa, Townsville, Rockhampton and Toowoomba. He is currently the Drive Time presenter for 104.9 Sunshine FM. He first worked on the Sunshine Coast with Radio 4SS Nambour as a broadcaster and music director from 1985 to 1989. He spent 18 years as a current affairs broadcaster with ABC Coast FM, having started with the then brand-new station in December 1992.
Cam has spoken to literally thousands of people from all walks of life on numerous important community, government and social topics and joins our inaugural festival as a panel moderator and interviewer. Cam has won an Australia day award for community service and commendations from the Californian Senate, San Francisco city council, Chinese Government health departments, and Philippine charity groups and from the Australian Government.
He believes the Sunshine Coast is the best place in the world to live.
